Terms of Service

Last updated 6 September 2026

The service. SwitchQR provides dynamic QR codes: a hosted short link that you can re-point to any destination URL, with a scan counter. The service is provided "as is" with reasonable effort at uptime but no uptime guarantee.

Your account. There are no passwords. Your subscription is identified by your Stripe customer record and the email you gave at checkout. You sign in by requesting a link sent to that email; the link works for 15 minutes and sets a session cookie in that browser.

Billing. Plans are billed monthly through Stripe after a 7-day free trial. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal. Cancellation stops the subscription immediately; see the refund policy for money back.

Acceptable use. You may not point codes at malware, phishing, illegal content, or content that infringes others' rights. We may disable codes or accounts that do so without refund.

When a subscription ends. If the subscription was ever paid, your codes keep redirecting for 90 days after the end of the last paid period, and you can keep editing their destinations during that time. A cancelled free trial stops immediately. Your data may be deleted 30 days after the grace period ends.

Liability. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid in the previous three months. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including losses from printed codes that stop working after the grace period ends.

Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be shown on this page with a new date. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
